Machakos Governor candidate Wavinya Ndeti has dismissed President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto’s claims that they have improved the lives of Kenyans since they were elected into leadership following the last general elections. Ndeti, former Kathiani MP, said that the two leaders have not done much for the last four years.
The Governor hopeful, a close ally of former vice President Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka, said that Uhuru and Ruto do not have a vision for the people of this country, adding that they should not be re-elected in August.
“Uhuru and Ruto have no vision for this country. Everything they are doing was started by former President Mwai Kibaki and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga. That is what they are using to campaign," she said, as quoted by Star.
The aspirant spoke after touring the county to campaign for herself and National Super Alliance (NASA) Presidential candidate Raila Amolo Odinga as he looks forward to becoming the next president of this nation. Wavinya Ndeti has been launching attack after attack against the current leadership.
She has also faulted the current Governor Dr Alfred Mutua for making false promises to the people of this county. The lawmaker was accompanied by Nairobi Governor Dr Evans Kidero who is seeking re-election.
