Former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti has referred to Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua as an irresponsible and disrespectful leader.
Though Ndeti did not elaborate what she meant by that, the Wiper gubernatorial candidate in 2017 elections who unsuccessfully challenged Mutua's re-election in court said with the Maendeleo Chap Chap leader at the helm of the leadership of the county, Machakos may not go far in realizing development.
Ndeti spoke on Friday hours after High Court in Machakos threw out a case in which she challenged the county chief's reelection during the August 8 General Election.
"To our friends and the people of Machakos, I thank you for your support. Your vote did not count and that's why I urge you all to join us in not recognizing the irresponsible and disrespectful leadership," Ndeti posted on her official Facebook page.
"I thank you all for turning out in masses for the August 8th general elections and voted for us in NASA because you believed in our ideologies, I urge fellow Kenyans to sacrifice anything they can to end electoral fraud. It should not be too easy to steal an election." Ndeti added.
Ndeti said the crisis of a rigged election should be so costly to the masters of vote theft in order to avoid election rigging in future.
"Through patriotism and diligence, we have been able to unite the biggest and most patriotic coalition in Kenyan history; NASA. We must stand together as a coalition and look into the future with renewed optimism," she added.
