Former Chama Cha Uzalendo (CCU) party leader Wavinya Ndeti, also Machakos gubernatorial aspirant has thanked her supporters for standing with her during the just concluded nominations.
The former Kathiani MP expressed her gratitude towards the electorate after turning out in large numbers to ensure that she is on the ballot box, adding that she will transform their lives once she ascends to power.
''Thank you Machakos residents for turning out in large numbers to nominate me as Machakos Wiper Gubernatorial Candidate in the just concluded primaries. I promise that I will provide real tangible change in every Location. I will ensure that what the people of Machakos want is actualised. God bless you all and have a great Labour Day,'' she said.
The legislator also promised Mutua a run for his money during the upcoming polls, saying that she is not a pushover.
"And I am telling you Mutua, watch this pace,'' said Ndeti, as she addressed the press in Machakos town, Monday.
Meanwhile, Mutua has rubbished the Wiper nominations in the county terming them fake. The governor questioned how the results when determined yet there was no voting in Machakos.
The county boss accused Kalonzo of cooking results in order to accord Wavinya Ndeti victory that she does not deserve. Wavinya Ndeti garnered 299,312 votes against Mr Kiala's 4,663.
