The former Kathiani MP terms the claims doing rounds social media as malicious and meant to tarnish her name ahead of the August 8 polls.
In an interview with the Standard, the Wiper governor hopeful accused incumbent Alfred Mutua of allegedly engineering the false claims.
She said that Dr Mutua is afraid of losing and is allegedly using malicious tactics to remain relevant. Ndeti said that she will unite all the communities living in the county.
The governor hopeful also promised to champion the interests of every community without discrimination. ‘‘It is so sad for a person like Mutua to go on feeding residents with lies in the name of protecting his political territories,’’ she said as quoted by the Standard.
Ndeti said that Mutua’s time is up and that no amount of alleged lies will save him on August 8.
The former Chama Cha Uzalendo (CCU) party leader asked her supporters to ignore propaganda being peddled against her.
Ndeti urged supporters to remain calm and turn out in large numbers on August 8 to send Mutua home.
The governor hopeful has been engaging with Mutua in public jibes recently.
Ndeti has vowed to unseat Mutua who he says has done nothing got better the living standards of locals.
Governor Mutua is seeking re-election on his Maendeleo Chap Chap (MCC) party and has dismissed Ndeti’s bid.
Mutua claims that Ndeti is not fit to hold public office.
Machakos deputy governor Bernard Kaila and former county employee Lemmy Muia are also in the race to send Mutua home.
Kaila is contesting as an independent candidate while Muia is vying on Jubilee party ticket.
