Orie Rogo Manduli has said that Former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti will give Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua a run for his money in the forthcoming general polls.
Manduli, who spoke on Citizen TV’s Jeff Koinange Live Show, said Wavinya Ndeti has what it takes to unseat Mutua from power in the forthcoming general polls.
At one point during the interview, the vocal woman also took a swipe at Mutua for failing to handle his marital status.
According to Manduli, she is dissapppointed in Mutua after he broke up with his first wife before marrying the current wife Lilian Ng’ang’a with, who has been accompanying her to most public the events.
Her remarks were backed by Nairobi Businessman, Chris Kirubi, who said that Wavinya Ndeti has the qualities to replace Wiper Party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka. Kirubi said that she likes Wavinya Ndeti’s commitment, speech and clarity.
She also called upon women who want to enter the political arena to emulate the character of Wavinya Ndeti as they seek to rise to power.
Wavinya Ndeti, who trounced Deputy Bernard Kiala during Wiper nominations, is expected to lock horns with Mutua when that time comes. The aspirant has continued to express confidence that she will beat Mutua in August.
