Former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti's father is dead.
Peter Ndeti 105 years died on Thursday at Karen Hospital where she has been admitted for more than a month.
Ndeti is a renowned founder of Mavoko town council and the town's first councilor.
Ndeti was Mavoko councilor for 30 years.
Mavoko Member of Parliament (MP), Patrick Makau, was among leaders who sent condolences message to Ndeti's family.
Speaking in his Mavoko office Makau said that the constituency has lost a leader, political mentor and a businessman.
“Peter Ndeti was a great leader and as Mavoko residents we have lost an important person. We will remember him for the great work he did of stabilizing our council,” said Makau.
Ndeti served as the council chair between 1945 until 1992.
