Ndeti, who was speaking at the Machakos Golf Club, said that he will not engage in tussles with the MCAs for the sake of development in the region. Ndeti said that she will not manipulate MCAs to sing his tune if she takes over power.

"I want to assure the MCAs that never again will they be manipulated by the County Government of Machakos. We will work as a team to deliver the much-needed development for this county," Wavinya said, as quoted by Standard.

The outspoken politician also said that she will solve the problem of water and unemployment among others if she takes over leadership. "Lack of sufficient water remains a great challenge in Machakos.

Our government shall ensure people have access to safe and affordable water within a radius of at least two kilometers for domestic use, agriculture and afforestation," she added.

Ndeti has affirmed that she will beat the incumbent Governor Dr Alfred Mutua in the forthcoming general elections.  She is banking on Wiper Party leaders Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka and her performance track record to ascend to power.
