Former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti over the weekend received several MCA aspirants to the CCU party in Kinanie, Athi River.

The MCA aspirants were from Shiru ward, Banja ward in Vihiga County, Idakho North ward of Kakamega County and Cheptais Ward of Bungoma County. 

CCU party will be fielding candidates in all elective posts except the president and the party influence is also growing beyond Ukambani region. Wavinya will use the party to contest for the Machakos gubernatorial seat in 2017. 

The CCU party leader will also host a thanksgiving ceremony Saturday 26, after 40 days of mourning her departed husband prince Henry Dolamu Oduwale.

From there Wavinya is expected to resume her political activities in preparation for 2017 general elections.
