Former CCU party leader Wavinya Ndeti has revealed the first thing she will do for Machakos residents if they elect her the next governor. Speaking during the JKL show, Wavinya said that she will tackle the water problem that has harassed Machakos women for decades. She also promised to tarmac 50 KM of roads annually.
“The first thing I will do is water. Am not just talking like other politicians because I am a woman and I know what women go through. I am going to be Machakos governor and will tarmac fifty kilometers of roads per year,” Wavinya said.
Wavinya also expounded on her manifesto. She said the low income earners in society will not be taxed while disadvantaged groups like the youths will be prioritized.
“I will build a Level Four hospital in Mavoko and a real referral hospital in Machakos. Water projects, youth polytechnics, agriculture, processing plants for food stuffs, securing European markets, infrastructure, youth empowerment, and no taxation to Mama Mbogas, technological advancement and industrialization are other issues that I will prioritize,” Ndeti said.
She stated that her truck record puts her above MCC leader Alfred Mutua. Wavinya promised her supporters a landslide win come August.
