Dagoretti South MP Dennis Waweru has blamed Jubilee Party election officials for the hitches witnessed during the ongoing process.
This is after a number of hitches were witnessed in Dagoretti south constituency.
Speaking to the press, Waweru said that names of voters were missing from the party’s register exposing the elderly, who were being assisted to vote, to wait longer than expected.
“There are various hitches that have hampered a smooth running of the process since morning. There has also been delay for ballot papers for some MCAs,” he added.
By press time, John Kiarie had been declared the winner for the seat ahead of Waweru.
