Dagoreti South MP Dennis Waweru has laughed off Water and Sanitation Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa's gubernatorial bid for Nairobi County, saying the two will fail.

The MP, who has also declared interest in the seat, said Wamalwa is an outsider who does not understand the life and dynamics of city residents.

He further questioned the allegiance of Wamalwa and his perceived running-mate former housing Assistant Minister Margaret Wanjiru saying they are not steadfast in Jubilee.

Waweru termed his political pact with Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko and Nominated MP Johnson Sakaja dubbed 'Team Nairobi' as the best placed to dislodge current governor Evans Kidero.
