Coffee has become the one thing dependent to everyone lately as it helps one get through the day.

There’s nothing particular wrong with coffee per se, however, sometimes too much of a good thing might not be so good after all.

No one wants to feel like they have to depend on something to get them going but let’s face it, for some people, coffee may as well be considered an addiction.

Here are alternative ways to rise and shine if you want to take a break from your morning café.

MoveWe all know that moving around can help get the blood circulating in the body.Stretching can be great way to get moving in the morning and limber you up a bit for the day’s activities.

Eat an apple.The apple, also known as the fruit that ‘keeps the doc away’ is a good boost to your metabolism.Apples give you those much needed nutrients that will keep your body in high spirits.Do not limit yourself though, other fruits like bananas and oranges are a perfect fix just in case apples are out of reach.

ExerciseKick start your day with a good run round the estate. Early morning exercises helps the body to pick up quickly as well as it causes the body to release endorphins – ‘feel good’ chemicals that gets you rejuvenated.

         WalkingAlternatively, the body may take quite some time to pick for most part of the morning to even want to run, take a walk down the hill. Your lungs could also appreciate the fresh morning air helping them get stronger.

Cold shower No one likes cold chills in the morning, but cold water running through your spine gives your brain that click it requires in the morning.A cold shower awakens your mind fast enough just as well as a cup of coffee would. Once in a while, ditch the hot shower and get that refreshing boost with a cold shower.

Drink waterA cold glass of water works magic to a sleepy head. Just like a cold shower, a cold glass of water boosts your mind fast reawakening the brain in an immediate pulse.
