Wazito Football Club have signed 16-year-old Chris Owino to feature in the second leg of their Kenya Premier League (KPL) campaign.
The signing comes in the wake of the departure of their top scorer in the last two seasons, 21-year-old Pistone Mutamba, as part of the KPL mid-season transfers.
Owino, who plays in the midfield position, will provide a huge boost to the team in terms of energy and his ability to play progressive football that creates more attacking opportunities.
He will certainly add more depth to head coach Frank Ouna's team and help fill the void that Mutamba left after departing for Sofapaka FC.
Wazito are currently placed at 15th in the KPL log, one point behind Thika United with 17 points out of 17 games.
