Opposition coalition NASA has maintained that they will garner more than 10million votes during the forthcoming general elections.

Speaking on Saturday during a political rally held at Kakamega's Bukhungu Stadium, the alliance's presidential candidate Raila Odinga further exuded confidence that he will beat President Uhuru Kenyatta, as he makes a fourth stab at the presidency in August.

“We are 10 million strong. Those are the votes we already have, what remains is merely a transfer from our supporters into the ballot boxes," he said.

He also insisted that presidential results announced at the constituency level by returning officers must be declared final.

The move is aimed at curbing election rigging.

“We will have at least five people in every polling station who will be mandated to man the voting process as well as communicate to our headquarters in Nairobi,” he said.

Mr Odinga's remarks were reiterated by his running mate and former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka, who said that the NASA leadership will liberate Kenyans from runaway graft.
