Party for Development and Reforms (PDR) leaders have rubbished claims that they have changed their minds to back National Super Alliance (NASA) candidate in the forthcoming general elections.

The leaders, who are aligned to Jubilee party, have affirmed that they will rally the electorate behind President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto ahead of the August elections’ date. 

Speaking to their supporters, the politicians insisted that Uhuru deserves another term in office because of his exemplary performance scoreboard. 

The leaders included Muhumed, his running mate and former Wajir Deputy Governor Abdihafidh Yarrow, senator candidate Mohamed Abikar and Fatuma Gedi for woman representative among others. 

The team made a commitment that the political outfit will stand with the current leadership to end. They reassured the electorate that they support the reelection of President Uhuru Kenyatta. 

Abukar Gacal, a lead campaigner for Jubilee team in the county said that the claims that have been doing rounds on social media and other platforms that they have joined the opposition are mere propaganda adding that they are in Jubilee to stay. 

“Reports appearing that PDR in Wajir County has joined opposition outfit NASA are a lie and progadanda,” he said. The Jubilee point man added: “We are in Jubilee to stay.”
