Wiper leaders in Kisii have announced that they are no longer part of the National Super Alliance Coalition (NASA).
Led by Secretary General Kisii chapter Charles Birundu the leaders accused their ODM counterparts of disrespecting their party leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
They said the disrespect started when Mr Musyoka skipped the swearing in ceremony of opposition leader Raila Odinga on January 30, 2018.
"We cannot be part of a coalition that does not respect our party leader. Calling him names and publicly showing him disrespect is uncalled for," he said.
According to him, leaders who attended the function went there by choice and it was not a mist for them to attend.
Mr Birundu said that every leader has his own strategies of dealing with the Government.
"Their is no shortcut about it Mr Musyoka must be respected. That is what it means to be united and having the same goals," he said.
This comes just a day after Amani leader Musalia Mudavadi said that he did not attend the swearing in ceremony because it was not constitutional.
Mr Mudavadi also said that failure to attend the function did not make him a coward.
