Cord leader, Raila Odinga has stated that the cord coalition is not in to compete with anyone in hunting votes in the country.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday at the Cord coalition headquarters in Nairobi, Raila said that the point of him meeting with a delegation from the Maasai community from Narok county was as planned not that he was competing with his counterpart jubilee.
The cord leader met a delegation to discuss what seemed to be a political destination for the Maasai community as he hunts votes ahead of 2017 polls.
The claims raised by the jubilee supporters are that the cord coalition is seeking to compete for votes where the jubilee coalition has already visited for the same 'agenda'.
This comes a day after president Uhuru Kenyatta met a delegation of members of the community, whereby immediately the cord principal also met a delegation from the same region,as Jubilee claims that the cord coalition is panicking and has set up the competition to fight back and gain the constancy in various regions in the country.
The Cord principal said the coalition remains strong and still popular in the country.
