The Omogusii unity team has responded to those propagating matters that the group is there for their own interests .
Led by Kitutu Chache South Member of Parliament Richard Onyonka, they said they are unstoppable in their agenda of uniting the community.
Speaking at Kenyenya in Bomachoge Chache Constituency on Sunday during the fundraising in aid of the construction of the church, Onyonka said that they are not idiots as some call them but they want to set a common agenda for the community.
“When we come together we are not idiots, we need to set up measures on how we can work together in order to bargain our share at the national level,” said Onyonka.
The lawmaker said that they will not be scared by anybody who will propagate matters about the group but to them, it will give them more strength of uniting.
“We cannot be scared by anybody who rubbishing the “Omogusii unity Team,” we are determined and focused in achieving what we want, let them talk until they get tired,” he said.
“This is the time we need to support each other by coming together regardless of our political parties and talk in one voice which will make us be respected as the community,” he added.
He added that they will keep pushing until they achieve their goals.
The Omugusiii unity team lead by Senator Obure, Kisii Deputy Governor Joash Maangi Former CIC chair Charles Nyachae and 8 MPs from the area have been having a series of meetings.
