NASA presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga has told President Uhuru Kenyatta to start preparing to accept defeat ahead of the August 8 general election.
Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, Raila said that NASA is baffled by claims within Jubilee that the next polls will be marred by chaos.
He said the pair of Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto has been cornered after vote rigging avenues were unearthed and that they are now struggling in the fears of losing power.
He accused the two of mismanaging the country and now "resorted to lying to the country intentionally, deliberately, and consistently."
Raila took a swipe at the government for threatening the independence of the Judiciary through intimidation.
"Everyone has noticed that lately that Uhuru and Ruto is a very angry couple. They are lashing out at everything and everyone with intemperate and uncouth language."
"The two are constantly exploding into fits of rage and spreading lies and misinformation," Raila said.
"We are not interested in a nusu-mkate (half loaf) arrangement with Jubilee.
"These lies have gone on hand in hand with the massive preparation of security forces for deployment in selected areas supposedly in readiness for election chaos."
