Addressing mourners at the home of former powerful minister Simeon Nyachae during the burial of his wife the late Esther Nyachae, Onyonka said that they have initiated the Omogusii unity in aid of unifying the community.

“We have come together as leaders so that we can be united and bargain for the national cake, so we are not after seats nor have we divided any political seats amongst ourselves,” said Onyonka.

“Since our agenda is unifying the community we urge our able governors to join us so that we can move together and unify our community for one goal, “ he said.

Borabu Member Of Parliament Ben Momanyi echoed Onyonka's  sentiments by saying that the community needs to be united.

“Any community which is not united ends up losing many things, let us support this initiative so that we can boost our development,” said Momanyi.
