Opposition coalition NASA has reiterated that they will not accept a rigged election during the forthcoming polls.
Speaking on Thursday during a meet-the-people tour in Kilifi, NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga affirmed to his supporters that they will have every vote protected.
“This time round, they will not steal. They have successfully done that in previous elections but it will not be business as usual this time,” he said.
“We shall follow up even on patients in hospitals, take them to vote and return them to the hospitals. Our main target is that no vote should remain in your pocket on the material day,” he added.
The former Prime Minister is giving the presidency a fourth stab.
NASA is targeting more than 10million votes.
On his part, Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho vowed to lock out Jubilee in the Coastal region.
“If they hold their meeting in Mvita, I will hold mine in Nyali. That is democracy,” the outspoken county chief said.
