IEBC Uasin Gishu county Elections coordinator Jacktone Nyonje has said everything is ready for the October 26 presidential elections.
He said they have concluded all logistics for the Thursday's elections.
"I want to assure residents that all is in order and elections will be conducted as scheduled therefore no cause of alarm," he said in Eldoret town, Tuesday.
"The over 800 polling stations will be opened at 6 am and closed at 5 pm. I urge Kenyans to come in large numbers and vote for their preferred candidate," he added.
He reiterated the commission's commitment of ensuring elections is conducted in a free and fair manner that will be accepted by both parties.
"All our officers have undergone training therefore we expect nothing but credible elections," he noted.
He, however, called upon residents to maintain peace and allow those who want to vote to do so.
Uasin Gishu County has 450,000 votes and in the August elections 350,000 people voted while 100,000 did not participate in the exercise.
