Gatundu South Member of Parliament (MP) Moses Kuria has said that Jubilee Coalition is ready for the National Dialogue being called for by the opposition to help solve challenges facing the country.
Kuria has asked those calling for dialogue to make it formal by writing to the President outlining the agenda for the same.
"As the President said, we as Jubilee members have no problem with having a national dialogue and we are ready for it,” said Kuria.
While talking about The National Alliance (TNA) party politics, Kuria has asked party members who are calling for elections of their officials to hold their horses till the Kajiado by-election is over.
"This is not the time for The National Alliance members to fight among themselves. We have a huge task ahead of us, which is to make sure we as TNA party capture the Kajiado parliamentary seat in the by-election scheduled for next mont,” said Kuria.
Speaking at the same time, Juja Member of Parliament Munyua Waititu said that Cord must exercise decorum if they want dialogue.
"I was very disappointed to see an ODM party Member of Parliament referring to Cord leader Raila Odinga as the President during the Fidel Odinga’s burial last week. We cannot have dialogue in such an environment where people do not have respect for institutions,” said Munyua.
The two were speaking in Gatundu South on Wednesday at a funeral of a local Matatu SACCO leader.
