Coast Region ODM officials have said the party is ready to replace Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya, who is said to have decamped to Jubilee Party.
Some of the officials dared the governor to resign and convince the electorate using a Jubilee ticket.
Abdallah Mambo, who chairs the Msambweni branch, claimed Mvurya is joining Jubilee to have a share of 'corruption' fruits.
"We are planning for his burial, although he was our son. We did not know he was our enemy and we cannot allow him back,” said Mambo.
"We know Mvurya has joined Jubilee to get a share of Eurobond, NYS monies so he can campaign with a chopper in 2017," he added, as quoted by The Star.
He further stated that anyone who will dare attend Jubilee's Saturday merger will be considered a defector.
The chairman was in the company of women leader Fatuma Juma and Sheikh Hamisi Banda who is the party's advisor.
Banda said Mvurya gave early indications of betraying ODM, as he did not take part in the Okoa Kenya initiative, Malindi-by elections, as well as anti-IEBC demonstrations.
