Speaking in Bomet on Sunday during the homecoming rally of Bomet governor Isaac Ruto, Kalonzo said that Cord will not agree to anything contrary to the agreed terms.

“We are ready to resume demonstrations if what we agreed on elections will not be met,” he was quoted on Citizen tv.

The former vice-president was among key opposition leaders who graced Governor Isaac Ruto’s homecoming ceremony in Bomet Town. Other leaders who attended the event include KANU’s Gideon Moi, Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi, ODM Chairman John Mbadi and KANU Secretary General Nick Salat among others.

The leaders used the rally to call for the formation of an all-inclusive opposition coalition dubbed the National Super Alliance Coalition.

Isaac Ruto had flown to South Africa for a specialised treatment after he was allegedly hit by a tear gas cannister two weeks ago after chaos erupted at a football match at silibwet stadium in Bomet.
