A section ODM members deemed to be rebels have come out state that they are still in the party despite being unveiled as Jubilee Party members.
Speaking on Friday while facing the party's disciplinary committee, the members accused ODM leadership of wrongly accusing them of ditching the opposition outfit for the newly launched Jubilee Party.
Igembe Central Cyprian Kubai told the committee that he had to attend the launch because that is what his people demanded from him.
''I attended the launch because I was invited and my people demanded that I attend, that does not mean that am one of them," said Kubai.
Kisii county deputy Governor Joash Maangi also told the panel that he has not left but is just acting in accordance with the situation.
He has further accused the party of mistreating its member's something that could make them decide to decamp to more decent parties.
''I am in ODM, but the Jubilee party is wooing me to go to their side but the party is going the wrong way by saying that we are traitors, that's a way of chasing away members," added Maangi.
The defectors appeared before the panel to explain why their seats should not be declared vacant.
