Wiper Party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has said that the National Super Alliance (NASA) has the numbers to beat Jubilee during the forthcoming general elections.
Speaking on Thursday in Kitui, Kalonzo said Former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga, now NASA Presidential candidate will defeat President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto when that time comes.
“We are sure of winning this election, we have the vote numbers across the country to send Jubilee government home,” he said.
Kalonzo, also former vice president, further told of President Uhuru for attempting to woo him to cross over to Jubilee ahead of the August elections.
Uhuru had asked Kalonzo to join Jubilee when that time comes in order to form the government with Deputy President William Ruto in 2022.
“Asking me to join them with offers to deputize Ruto in 2022 is a mockery to the Kamba community that has suffered under their leadership and we must teach them a lesson at the ballot,” he stated.
The remarks of the Ukambani political kingpin come after Raila also told President Kenyatta to forget about wooing him (Kalonzo) to leave that alliance. Kalonzo’s departure from NASA will change the political situation of this nation.
