Kisii county deputy governor Joash Maangi has said the county is number one for high allocation of funds in health sector across all counties in the country.
According to Maangi Kisii county invests more in health sector since it is the most sensitive sector and should be taken care of time and again.
Speaking on Thursday in Kisii town Maangi said the county will continue to offer good health services to all residents who get sick.
“If you compare all allocation of counties in Kenya mostly in health you will find that Kisii county is number one in allocating more funds in the health sector and we will continue to see that patients are well served in our various hospitals,” said Maangi.
Maangi also challenged all health workers in the county to continue working together with the government to make sure every thing is well-done in the sector
He also lauded his boss Governor James Ongwae for working together with health workers and national government to achieve what is necessary for the health sector.
