Two MPs from Nakuru County have vowed to defend President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee rule by every other way from the opposition.
Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri and his counterpart from Nakuru West Samuel Arama told off Coalition for Reform and Democracy (Cord) leader Raila Odinga over his IEBC impasse with the government.
“We do not eat vitendawili (parables) and fujo (violence). The only opportunity we have is to work for our people,” said Ngunjiri on Thursday.
Arama Added: “The only thing we cannot allow is for Raila and his team to disturb Kenyatta. We will defend the President.”
The two MPs spoke in Nakuru East constituency during re-launch of National Youth Service programme.
They maintained that IEBC impasse can only be resolved through properly established channels which Cord have turned a blind eye on.
Arama decamped to Jubilee after getting elected on an ODM ticket.
