Kisii town Probox Matatu operators have appealed to Kisii county government to construct them their stage like other matatu operators.
Speaking to journalist on Tuesday in Kisii town Probox matatu operators led by Kevin Magara said they contribute to county government by paying the tax like other operators but they have not seen the fruits of their taxes.
“We don’t have our Probox matatu stage in Kisii town as you can see our vehicles are near the roads all over but we pay the tax,” Magara said.
“We ask our county government to use the money we pay as tax and construct us the stage, we need transparency from our current county leadership and let Governor Ongwae take action and answer our grievances,” added Kennedy Ochong’a, a driver
They also asked the county to introduce matatu stickers that they use o instead of paying every day.
