In Bonchari constituency, residents of Bomariba have said that they no longer have an MP over the poor leadership, poor roads among other development projects that have not been fulfilled by their area lawmaker Zebedeo Opore.
Residents have claimed that Opore will not receive any support in 2017 from the region since he has done nothing to the community.
Speaking at Bigogo area, residents decried poor roads in the area and some other projects are incomplete.
"Gesonso-Gesero -Kasarani -Mogumo road is impassable especially during this time of rains in August. The roads are full of potholes and efforts to reach Opore has gone fruitless since he does not even answer calls," said Raphael Moi.
Moi said that area was proposed to have a market several years ago and Opore had promised to ensure the construction but until today.
"We have pleaded with Opore to repair roads and complete some projects such as construction of Miranga youth Polytechnic but our efforts have gone fruitless," Moi argued.
Residents noted that Opore has been in power for 15 years now but he has done nothing fruitful to the people who support him.
"How comes only one or two people benefit from a leader. We all voted but discrimination will cost Opore in the next election. As at now, we can not say publicly that we have an MP who never brings development," said Fred Ouru.
