Kisii university students' union leader Mr Peter Kuria has defended the institution after one of its alleged political exam paper went viral on social media.

The paper which was dated 15th January 2018, set for the degree in Economics and statics course, was said to have controversial questions supporting the Jubilee government.

This went viral on social media claiming that the university is driven by Jubilee lecturers who are political rather than professional.

"The paper was a result of a photoshop by an unknown source! We have qualified lectured who cannot set such exams! Kenyans should know how to use social media!" Peter Kuria said.

Students taking Economic and statics have condemned the online sarcasm going on claiming they did not do such a paper either have they ever come across such.

Addressing the students at the university on Monday, Kuria further advised them to be vigilant with what they post online as it may cost ones life or career later.
