Orengo who spoke in Busia County on Saturday during the burial of Funyula MP Paul Otuoma's son, said the IEBC had started engaging in unscrupulous actions to sabotage the 2017 polls.

He warned that the opposition will only participate in a transparent, free and fair election and nothing more.

“We either have proper elections or no elections,”  said Orengo as quoted by Citizen Digital.

He cited the early procurement of ballot papers as one of the actions. “They have even ordered from companies to bring them ballot papers. Ballot papers don’t need to be ordered now,” said the Senator. The opposition, he asserted, will concede defeat if the exercise is conducted fairly.

The Senator and a host of other opposition leaders present at the function took the opportunity to champion for the proposed National Super Alliance Coalition.
