The National Super Alliance (NASA) has maintained that it can prove beyond doubt that the just concluded general polls presidential race results were tampered with.
Speaking in an interview on Citizen TV Tuesday,NASA presidential campaigns secretariat member Joseph Simekha said that the alliance has solid proof to prove that alot of mischief was included in the process to tilt the result to favor President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election.
''We have more than enough evidence to prove to the nation and the entire world that the election was rigged and our victory stolen,'' said Simekha.
He also said that the alliance is not afraid of following judicial avenues in its bid to challenge the results saying that, despite having rubbished that as a choice earlier, there still are possibilities of the team taking to court upon conclusion of the ongoing consultations between stakeholders within the alliance.
He rubbished claims that the team is under pressure from the several concerned bodies and institutions including the international and African communities which have called upon the alliance to follow legal procedures as it seeks to challenge the outcome.
''We are not afraid to go to court. There are consultations in progress and the nation should not be shocked should we announce that we will be filing a pertition in the Supreme court. These are matters that need sobriety and decisions cannot be made in haste,'' he said.
The results which were released by the national polls body IEBC Friday gave President Uhuru a win over his bitter rival and opposition don Raila Odinga,an announcement that has been met by denial and disbelief from Odinga's quarter with Odinga maintaining that he had floored Kenyatta.
