Suna East Member of Parliament Junet Mohamed has reiterated that the National Super Alliance (NASA) has no faith in the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) office.
According to Junet, the DPP's office has failed to resolve past issues like murders, misuse of office and corruption. For example, Junet found it ironical for the DPP to be investigating the IEBC while the deaths of Jacob Juma and Chris Msando have not yet been resolved.
"We have no faith in the office of the DPP. This is because they have failed to resolve other past issues of importance and that is why the murders of Jacob Juma, Chris Msando and others remain unresolved," said Junet.
The legislator further called on Jubilee to stop making stereotypical statements in regards to NASA's planned mass action.
He believes it is unfair to refer to NASA supporters as violent people whenever they plan to picket. In his view, NASA's mass action against IEBC will be peaceful and free from any violence.
"It is unfair for Jubilee to refer to NASA supporters as violent people. We are planning to picket against IEBC on Tuesday and it will be as peaceful as possible," said Junet.
The lawmaker made the remarks on Monday on KTN News TV during a debate.
