A section of Jubilee affiliated Members of County have faulted the move by Kisii county assembly to pass the motion aimed at embracing the People’s Assembly in the county and said they have no otherwise but to stare them pass it.

Led by Kisii central ward Kefa Mogaka the Mcas termed the move as unfortunate and solely aimed at satisfying top NASA leaders and not Kisii county residents who voted them into office.

“The NASA affiliated Mcas have already started to push for the motion and it’s unfortunate that we Jubilee Mcas has got smaller number which cant affect nor stop the motion from going, however, no local will benefit from it,” said Mogaka

Mogaka, however, said the majority of the Mcas in the county assembly had no clue on what they are looking into neither passing nor the intention of the motion.

Maturwe Bilancio another jubilee Mcas representing the people of  Boitangare said the People’s assembly may be a hidden agenda by NASA that will allow them to stage a parallel government after they were defeated in the August poll and the October repeat poll.

“We have no doubt Raila is planning to run a parallel government so that he can easily exercise impunity in this nation, however, we as jubilee won’t allow that to happen,” said Maturwe

Kisii County is in its early stages of preparing the bill and is expected to be passed by the Mcas on Monday.
