ODM leader Raila Odinga has warned party aspirants that he has no preferred candidate for any elective position.
Raila said claims that the party primaries will not be fair and transparent was brewing tension among party members.
He was speaking in Mombasa on Saturday, ahead of the Nasa rally at Tononoka Grounds.
The former Prime Minister said all aspirants will be subjected to fair contest and the party supporters will have the final say.
It is this kind of uncertainty that has aspirants in the party want a clear assurance from the party boss.
In a meeting at Mombasa attended by the National Super Alliance (Nasa) co-principal, the aspirants sought to know if nominations will indeed be fair or they were just acting a flower girls.
Claims which have been rubbished by Raila who says the allegations were recipe for animosity in the party.
Raila who is in the region to drum up support and popularize Nasa’s agenda appealed to the aspirants not waiver and look at the bigger picture.
