IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati.IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati has assured that the Commission will have all the presidential results verified, before declaring any candidate the winner. This follows concerns by the National Super Alliance (Nasa), that Jubilee Party leader President Uhuru Kenyatta's aides hacked the IEBC server transmission systems, to rig in his favour.Nasa cited the presidential provisional results, which put Uhuru ahead, saying there were no forms 34A's which accompany the presidential results from each polling station.Chebukati indicated that IEBC would not rush to declare winner of the elections, but would have to verify every result they receive first."The law gives us seven days to declare the winner of the presidential election. So we are not on the rush to declare anybody a winner. We're going to verify every detail," he said.Addressing participants and the press from the national tallying centre at the Bomas of Kenya, he asked Kenyans to remain relatively calm, saying he can not announced unverified results."In the event that there is difference between electronic results and the hard copy forms 34A, the hard copy forms signed by agents are the final results. We will have all transmitted polling station result forms 34A's on a public portal shortly. Will share the link," affirmed Chebukati, Wednesday.
