Kisii town businessmen have said they incurred great losses through Cord demonstrations that took place in Kisii town on Monday.
According to them, they closed their business premises as from 10am to 3pm because of demonstrations to prevent their properties from damage apart from that they said that closing their businesses during normal working hours affected them too.
The businessmen lead by David Gichana said they incurred losses and challenged Cord supporters to stop demonstrations and follow the right channel to disband IEBC commissioners so as to give the business community an opportunity to conduct their normal business operations.
“Demonstrations paralysed our business sector yesterday here in Kisii town some of us we never made sales since we closed up our business premises,” said Gichana.
Bernard Ochoke, another businessman asked Cord supporters to balance both sides and stop demos that can hinder some of them not to conduct their normal business.
