A small group of Tala residents have today expressed their concern about Machakos county governor Alfred Mutua saying that they miss his presence in the town.
They argued out that Mutua has taken a long time since visiting Tala residents after the last 2012 elections.
"We have not seen our governor for a long time now. We really miss his presence in our town. He should come and tour this region as he did when campaigning in the last election process of 2012," said one of the residents.
Speaking today in Tala town in an interview, the residents claimed that there are projects that have not been completed through the Maendeleo Chap Chap initiative that was launched to promote development in the entire Machakos county.
They further stressed on the importance of Mutua working close with the people who elected him saying that they will continue cooperating in terms of development projects that were introduced in the region.
The residents are now appealing to the governor to visit Tala residents and implement all projects that he had for the residents.
