Students of Kisii university have threatened to hold a peaceful demonstration to demand their transcripts.
The angry student held a meeting on Monday noon to express their anger and grievances to the Vice-chancellor, Professor John Akama, and students leaders.
During the meeting, students chanted for their 'right' to have fully filled transcript in time.
Lack of educational transcripts has been a challenge in the university for some time now which has led to issues when clearing for graduations.
"We need our papers, we pay school fees on time but get no transcripts on time. Is this really fair to your students?" Brain Kati, a student asked the vice chancellor.
With the control of the student's leaders, they calmed down and insisted on having peaceful demonstration if the matter is not acted on quickly.
"I am your president I will ensure that whatever you raised is dealt with. We need these papers to know our educational progress," Peter Kuria, a students leaders said.
