Weak constitutional institutions is what ails Kenya, an activist has said.
Francis Shinali from Nakuru Town East Neighborhood Association says there is need to ensure strengthened institutions.
"As a nation we have made some strides but there is need to strengthen our institutions," he said.
He added that institution such as EACC should be able to prosecute to help fight corruption.
His sentiments were echoed by Martin Lunalo.
According to Lunalo,civic education will help alot in ensuring citizens are able to understand governance.
"Civic education is the way to go to ensure citizens understand governance,"he said.
Lunalo challenged residents of Nakuru county to ensure they participate in the making of Nakuru county finance bill.
