True to her sentiment, a group of young, ambitious with a focused dream is leaving her testimony that dance is ultimately more than just about moves. 

Meet the Revolutioners Dance Crew, the 8 member-dance crew based in Nakuru County.

During an interview with this writer on Friday, the group through its team leader Willy Cheriot, shared their love for dancing and how it all started. 

" We are a crew of 8 members aged between 13 and 27 brought together by a common goal to preach  the gospel of our saviour and win souls for Jesus Christ," said Cheriot.

  The crew whose main genre is purely gospel dance is made up of self-made event organisers, a deejay, cabin crew ,videographer, student entrepreneur and together they work hand in hand to see the success of the next big dance crew in Nakuru. Talk of team work.

" We perform our dances at churches's events which includes during crusade and conferences. In addition,we have extended the same to both birthday and graduation parties,weddings,roadshows,video shootng and also during public meetings," shared Cheriot.

 When asked on what motivates them, the crew said they draw their motivation from the Bible and their spiritual elders.

"Our main challenge is on how to use our God given talents well and not to let them go to waste," said the leader.

 Apart from dancing,the crew proudly confide that they have been using their platform to visit children's home and offer training for dancing. 

"Some of us have ventured into poultry and rabbit farming. We are a testimony that anything with God's purpose is possible," he said.

 With discussions about the rising cases of immorality among young people in the country, the crew advices the youth to stay focus and do something that is right.

" Be agents of positive change and only get moved withthat which is positive. In evrythng,let God be the number one according to what Matthew 6:33 which asks us to seek ye first the kingdom of God and everything else shall be added to us. 

To the upcoming dancer,never rush to be popular rather be patient,humble and during appointed time God will lift you up," they said.
