Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama insists that NASA will not recognize President Uhuru Kenyatta’s regime should the Supreme Court clear him adding that they will ensure he is ‘flushed’ out soonest.

Nyagarama, who was elected on ODM ticket, further says that the Nyanzan County shall pass People’s Assembly motion to declare Uhuru’s leadership illegitimate.

“He never won and we shall ensure he is flushed out soonest. We are tired of electoral fraud and it’s our duty to ensure the rule of law prevails.

“I have talked to MCAs and they have promised to ensure the People’s Assembly is passed expeditiously. We do not recognize an imposed leadership,” he said.

During the August elections, President Uhuru Kenyatta reportedly defeated Raila Odinga in the county which is a perceived NASA stronghold.

However, the Nyamira County Assembly is dominated with NASA affiliates with 14 out of 20 MCAs coming from the opposition.
