Jubilee is keen on monitoring the political developments in Nairobi county to ensure it remains properly governed.
This is according to Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria in relation to the recent fallout between Governor Mike Sonko and his deputy Polycarp Igathe.
While admitting that disagreement between the two was a setback to the Jubilee Party, Kuria said the party would intervene for the sake of Nairobians.
He said that the party had mandated him and Nairobi senator Johnson Sakaja to talk to the leaders with an aim of seeing disagreements between them resolved.
“Yes I would agree and consider this as a setback. We are looking at all mechanisms including talking to them, that’s also an option," he said.
"We are going to mend it and fix it and I want to tell the people of Nairobi and people of this country that there is no cause for alarm. We are going to ensure that sanity prevails,” Kuria said.
He was speaking during an interview at a local TV station on Sunday.
