A number of Members of Parliament from Machakos County have expressed their loyalty to Cord's Coalition political Principal Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka.
Speaking during the opening of Kauti irrigation Scheme, Machakos Women representative and Kathiani Member of parliament Robert Mbui expressed their faith in Cord Coalition.
Dr Susan Musyoka stated that despite calls for pressure on Kalonzo to be the flag bearer, she would support the former Vice President.
"We will remain with Cord up to 2017 elections in support for our leader Kalonzo Musyoka. Robert Mbui during the same event in Kauri area called upon the IEBC to step aside following lack of faith by the people it's supposed to represent.
"The is no possibility of us as Cord supporters to join jubilee as we are willing to support our leader in whichever position he stands for come 2017 elections," said Mbui.
This comes at a time when lower Eastern long political stand has been challenged by Machakos governor Dr Alfred Mutua who introduced Maendeleo Chap Chap movement.
There has also been a call by several politician to Kalonzo to ditch Cord if not nominated to be 2017 presidential flag bearer.
