Mr Kuria visited the constituency on Wednesday at Amariba region before proceeding to area MP’s residence for a 5 hrs mysterious meeting.

This comes after allegations emerged from a Nairobi-based blogger Vincent Osumo that the MP was planning to recruit a violent youth wing to counter the popularity of ODM.

ODM Kisii Youth league chair Erick Janganya now wants Mr Kuria’s meeting investigated and its agenda disclosed to the public.

“As a youth leader from Kisii, I want to invite the CID to investigate the agenda of Kuria’s meeting in Gusii," said Janganya.

"We had intelligence that he had a bad motive of recruiting our youths to a violent group and such concerns should be taken seriously,” he said.

“He is a dangerous species to the community and we don’t really need him to lecture us in Kisii. Kuria is a persona non grata who should be handled carefully and that is why we want the police to investigate his agenda to the region,” he added.

However, Mr Tongi who spoke to the reporter has since refuted the claims and dismissed them as mere propaganda.

“Kuria is a Kenyan who can visit any region in the country without any restrictions he paid me a courtesy call and we discussed our personal issues,” he said.
