National Assembly Majority leader Aden Duale says Jubilee government wants to achieve a 24 hour economy.
The Township legislator says this will be achieved under the last mile electrification programme, where he cited tangible progress in the project.
He says this will increase productivity countrywide.
“The government is connecting electricity to households, markets, schools and hospitals country wide so as to improve productively,” stated the law maker.
He added that this will help increase and create jobs all over the country.
“The electrification programme will create jobs and help achieve a 24-hour-economy,” added Duale.
He cited that a large number of locals have benefited in the Last Mile of the project.
