The Omogusii unity team have dismissed reports that they were heckled at Nyacheki during the MCA's burial on Friday.
Led by Kisii county Senator Chris Obure and former CIC Chairman Charles Nyachae they have cleared the air on the allegations that a section of the caucus was heckled on Friday at Nyacheki in Bobasi Sub-county during the burial of area MCA.
Addressing residents on Sunday during a fundraising for Sosera Secondary school in Nyaribari Masaba constituency, Kitutu Chache South MP Richard Onyonka said the information making rounds on the social media is misleading by insisting that no leader who was heckled .
Nyaribari Chache MP Richard Tong’i has challenged those saying that they were heckled during the funeral to have facts right before disseminating to the public.
“There is no good reason for someone to propagate issues which never happened, let us focus on the right channel rather than propagating issues," Tong’i said.
Tong’i also challenged Kisii residents to respect Nyachae who has offered to offer consultancy services to the community through the formed initiative.
"It is not good to heckle leaders if you have issues it is better to use right channels rather than causing chaos. That is primitive and disrespectful to the people who have served the country and overseas representing our community," he said.
Chris Obure chairman to Omogusii unity team asked the youth to fight for space in politics instead of complaining that they have been left out.
