The Jubilee Party has said that it will accept the outcome of the opposition block NASA's presidential petition to the Supreme Court  challenging President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election.

Speaking during the coronation of Garissa governor-elect Ali Korane Monday, national assembly majority leader Aden Duale said that the party is ready to take in the judgement.

''We will accept the Supreme Court's verdict. We are a law abiding team that believes in our judicial system,'' said the Garissa town MP-elect.

Duale said that his side is sure of a win saying that it has sufficiently invested in the best lawyers and is sure of a judgement that will uphold Kenyatta's win.

He stressed that the President and his deputy legally won maintaining that the same will be declared by the Supreme Court bench of judges after the 14 day window as constituted by the law.

''We have the best lawyers and so is the IEBC and we are sure of a win.We legally beat our competitors and the court will prove that,'' said Duale.

NASA has pointed out at some irregularities that it alleges might have affected the presidential race outcome.

It has pointed out that the national poll body started airing the results in the absence of all form 34As and 34Bs contrary to the law.

It has also maintained that some of the results that were aired contradict those contained in the forms.
